Storytimes

In Person Storytimes

Join us in Lil’s Treehouse where our children’s librarians share stories, rhymes, songs, and good times!

Storytimes run from September to May and are on Monday for children birth – 2 years old, Wednesday for an all ages silly storytime, and Thursdays for 3 – 5 year olds. Come on the Third Thursday of the month for a special Dance and Play Prek Storytime!

During the Summer, there are three special storytimes in July! Please see our online calendar for exact information.

Virtual Storytimes

Virtual Storytimes are housed on the University City Public Library YouTube page. These storytimes are geared toward Preschool and Early Elementary age, and include a variety of activities like songs, stories, finger plays, flannel boards, and rhymes to support the development of early literacy skills.
