Teen Spot

Welcome to the Teen Spot!

Teen can find fiction, non-fiction, audiobooks, magazines, graphic novels, & manga on the second floor--under the "Teen Spot" sign.

Teens may use Lil's Treehouse for study and chatting during after-school and evening hours when no special programs are scheduled. To use the room you must sign in at the Youth Services desk.

Summer Reading Program

This year's summer reading will be a hybrid model. We will have socially distanced, masked in-person reporting, but we are keeping the option to track your reading through Beanstack. Choose whatever works best for you!

Volunteers will once again be taking your report in person at the library! Join us May 21 - July 23 to share what you've read. Reporting hours will be Monday - Friday, 3pm - 7:30pm and Saturday - Sunday, 2pm - 4pm. Spin the wheel, collect your prizes, and choose more books all in one convenient stop.

For those who would liked the convenience of our app-based reporting, we are once again offering Beanstack as an option to bring reporting out of the library and into your home. Participants can log their reading minutes using the Beanstack App on a cell phone/mobile device or visit UCity's own Beanstack webpage. Check it out here.

We are excited to be able to invite our teen volunteers back to our library. These volunteers will be helping us by listening to readers report, doing computer based data entry, packaging prizes, and much more! If you or a teen you know is interested in earning volunteer hours at the library, stop by Youth Services for an application or email us at youthservices@ucitylibrary.org
