Book Discussion Event: My Grandfather Would Have Shot Me

Thursday, May 2 at 7pm in the Library auditorium
As part of U City Library's programming in honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day, please join us for a special discussion of Jennifer Teege's book My Grandfather Would Have Shot Me: a Black Woman Discovers Her Family's Nazi Past.  Teege, a German-Nigerian woman, only learned as an adult that her grandfather was notorious Nazi commandant Amon Goeth.  Her memoir explores her own past as well as that of her German family, and examines how her life has been affected by her discovery.

A limited number of copies will be available at the Library for checkout.
