COVID-19 Information

UNIVERSITY CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY TO REOPEN TO THE PUBLIC JUNE 22 WITH LIMITED ACCESS, MASK REQUIREMENTS

UCPL will reopen its doors Monday, June 22 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. The following limitations are in place:
  • Up to 20 patrons will be allowed inside the building at one time.
  • Patrons may stay in the building for up to one hour.
  • All patrons will be required to wear masks. Masks will be available to those who do not have one. If you are unable to wear a mask, we will be happy to retrieve items for you and bring them to you outside.
  • All seating, aside from chairs to be used at the computers, has been removed.
  • The Library will institute strict limits on computer time, allowing staff to clean the public computers on a regular schedule.
  • Wireless access will continue to extend into the parking lot.
  • Curbside service for held items and printed items will continue. Please send files for printing to technology@ucitylibrary.org.
  • UCPL staff will not take returns handed to them, as all returned items are quarantined for at least 72 hours. An indoor book drop and the two outside bookdrops will be available for returns, including DVDs and CDs.
